Project "AI Future: Transforming Daily Challenges with Artificial Intelligence" (The AI Future)
The AI Future project aims to bridge the digital divide by equipping marginalized adults with practical, easy-to-use AI skills that support daily life, independence, and social participation. The project empowers learners to use AI confidently for everyday tasks, communication, problem-solving, and literacy support. It also increases participation in adult education by making AI learning accessible and engaging for adults with limited digital experience. To ensure long-term impact, AI Future strengthens adult education systems by training educators and developing a practical AI learning methodology for inclusive adult learning contexts.
The AI Future project addresses critical gaps in digital literacy, AI accessibility, and adult education participation by ensuring that marginalized adults gain practical AI skills for everyday life.

The AI Future project target groups are marginalized adults who face barriers to digital inclusion, employment, and social participation. The primary target groups include older adults (55+), unemployed and economically disadvantaged adults, refugees and migrants, women at risk of social exclusion, and people with disabilities or special educational needs. Across partner countries, the project supports these learners with accessible, practical AI education tailored to their everyday needs, employability, and social inclusion. Through community-based outreach, blended learning, and cooperation with local authorities and training providers, AI Future promotes inclusive AI literacy and digital empowerment across Europe.
Project activities:
The project will develop and implement the AI Future methodology, including AI needs research, training for educators, interactive digital tools, video tutorials, and hands-on workshops for marginalized adults. It will create a MOOC platform, provide AI learning resources, host learning festivals in partner countries, and organize an international conference to disseminate results, promote collaboration, and ensure long-term AI tools' integration in adult education.
Project results:
- Creation of sustainable, open-access AI learning resources.
- Establishment of the AI Future Community with 350+ members, to create a sustainable network of AI educators, learners, and experts, ensuring long-term collaboration and continuous knowledge-sharing.
- Enhancing adults' lives through AI tools and skills, the project will train 14 adult educators, directly engage 210+ marginalized adults, involve 230+ stakeholders in Learning Festivals & International Conference, and build an AI Future
- The AI Future platform will have 1,000+ users, while 70+ policymakers will receive AI Future policy recommendations.
- Through regular dissemination, the project will reach 30,000+ people, ensuring broad awareness and long-term impact
