I preparation meeting in Istnabul: Anna Lindh Mediterranean Forum 2013

Sillamäe Society for Child Welfare represented Estonia in Istanbul, Turkey 28.06 - 01.07.2012 during the Anna Lindh Foundation European and Mediterranean youth leaders' first preparatory meeting, where the agenda for Anna Lindh Mediterranean Forum 2013 was set. Altogether 45 youth leaders from 35 European and Mediterranean countries took part and discussed during 4 days the main question - Youth contribution in dialogue and change.

The Anna Lindh Forum 2013 will represent the largest gathering of civil society from the two shores of the Mediterranean since the Arab Awakening 2011 and following the ongoing social impact of the European economic crisis. The Istanbul meetings are the first of a series of meetings which will take place in different euro-Mediterranean countries around priority themes in preparation of the Forum.
